" To professionally and effectively support the function of the Reinsurance Accounting Unit by striving for and achieving consistent results for goals established by the department Manager/AVP.
Overall Responsibilities: Describe the overall job responsibilities/essential functions for this position.
" Review, analyze and process 100-200 premium and loss transactions per month
" Create, process and clear department payables and receivables
" Interpret treaty contract terms to effectively process premium adjustments, RRP's and sliding scale commissions.
" Handle all inquiries for assigned accounts
" Communicate with Claims and Underwriting Departments to ensure accurate reporting data
" Effectively utilize paperless imaging system
" Assist management with special projects.

Required Experience/Qualifications: Include skills, education, certifications, etc.
" Related 4 yr college degree or five years reinsurance accounting experience
" Effective interaction with internal and external contacts
" Ability to work with minimal direction
" Ability to organize and prioritize workload
" Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
" Familiar with paperless/imaging work environment
