Our client is hiring a hands-on Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of manufacturing and warehouse operation. This is a fulltime position with excellent benefits.

Duties include:

"Planning and production of products per customer specification, supervision/oversight of Quality Department & laboratory services, accurate inventory management, proper and timely receipt/stocking of raw materials and customer shipments, effective processing of returns and equipment/facility maintenance.

"Implementation of process improvement and management methods to reduce/control costs, generate higher profitability and workflow optimization.

"Management of personnel to ensure an efficient and safe operation of the plant. Assist with hiring, training and cross-training personnel. Ensures employee performance and progress is properly tracked and recognized.

"Work closely with Sales, Technical Services, Operations and Management team members to meet business targets and surpass expectations.

"Daily oversight of plant ensure good work habits and good safety habits are followed.

"Ensures the production schedule is established and updated timely for purchase orders and inventory received at the plant.

"Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), plant maintenance, safety, security and sanitation programs. Follows or exceeds Federal, State and Local regulations and standards (FDA, EPA, OSHA, etc.).

"Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) requirements and programs designed for production of safe quality products in all areas of manufacturing, testing, labeling, packaging and holding inventory.  

"Responsible for maintenance of the facility and all equipment.

"Issue monthly reports and participate in monthly team meetings.


"Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business or related discipline.

"10 years of management experience in a nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, health & personal care, food and beverage manufacturing.

"Must be a proven hands-on leader with capabilities and experience in supervision and mentoring/motivation of employees within a manufacturing operation. Ability to fully engage employees.

"Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

"Technical knowledge of manufacturing machinery and equipment.

"Strong knowledge with Inventory Management, ERP systems and Excel, Word, Outlook.

"Positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude, proactive, responsible, problem/solution oriented, flexible to the needs of the business.
